HAL Design was commissioned to work on a time based project for the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), working as the sole UXI/UX designer for Accenture with a small team of content designers and the PO.

As part of their yearly financial cycle, the FCA wanted a digital product to be sent to attendees of a conference in London they were organising, prior to the event, so that they could get up to speed and gain insights into the key factors to be discussed there.

These were broken down into 5 themes, and our task was to present these in a concise and engaging digital format, using the vast array of data obtained from the FCA itself. Part of the challenge was finding a solution to present these in an easily digestible format for the attendees.

We used the idea of shedding light as a unifying concept, which helped create a clear and simple graphic identity for each theme, and allowed us to focus on a selection of key messages and supporting stats.

The resulting product was an impactful and educational introduction to the conference that users found invaluable when navigating the key themes discussed on the day, and served as a great aide-mémoire post conference.
